Our aim is to offer a personal and individual service to all our customers from the large commercial and local authority contract to the private client. Working to BS3998, we provide a professional tree service using fully qualified tree surgeons every time and can advise on all aspects of Tree and Woodland Management. We are based near Belper and Ashbourne in Derbyshire and undertake work across the Midlands, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Our customers include Local Authorities, Builders & Developers, Architects and many private individuals.
Immediate large tree experience was gained by Bill in clearing the aftermath of the storms in Hampshire in 1987. During 4 months emergency services contracted to local authorities, working experience was gained in dealing with the large, dangerous, wind torn tree damage created and thus helped develop MTM as it is now. MTM has a wide range of equipment which gives us the capacity to offer large dangerous tree take down, full site clearance and most other tree work. We also offer the additional service of tree transplanting using a Big John 65 tree spade allowing trees with a trunk diameter of up to 7 feet to be moved.

I contacted the company from the Yellow pages. I spoke with Bill Hurlstone who arranged a site meeting in Derby, during a late afternoon, where he assessed the tree problems. There were 3 conifers close to the House and neighbouring houses. he was able to reassure me as to the effect of the tree removal, ie whether there would be any effect either immediately or ongoing to the properties closest. He also identified other problems with self setting trees and dealt with them. Two days work; a tidy site; the feeling of being a valued client. Would I recommend. Yes I would!
