Franklin Ellis Architects was established in 1993 by David Franklin and Andrew Ellis with a culture and ambition to provide the best possible design advice. Over the past 25 years, the practice has grown to employ over 40 staff and has delivered award-winning buildings across all major development sectors. With offices in both Nottingham and Leicester, we are maintaining our position as a leading practice in the East Midlands. Matthew Branton, a founding member of Franklin Ellis Architects, is now managing partner and works with David Franklin, Andy Dowding, Ben Dudley and Joe Taylor in ensuring the firm maintains its strong position in the market.

Franklin Ellis Architects currently employs around forty staff. We are engaged on a wide range of exciting projects across a variety of sectors with values from 250,000 up to 50 million. Our range of services include architecture, interior design, landscape and visualisation. We are an award-winning practice and place significant emphasis on delivering high quality design. We operate in a lively, modern, open plan environment within a renovated Victorian pumping station, a short walking distance from the centre of Nottingham.

Our interiors team was established to enhance and support the architectural division of Franklin Ellis. Our experience covers a wide range of design sectors including hospitality, commercial offices, historic building interiors, schools and universities, and healthcare. We work collaboratively and creatively, both within the Franklin Ellis office and alongside outside consultants, producing diverse design concepts that are tailored to our client's requirements. Our primary goal is to deliver detailed, high quality interior design projects that excite and improve the well-being of all end users.
