Since 1999, I've had the privilege of doing just this - guiding people from that initial thought - "Wouldn't it be great if we could see the sea from here", or "We need a larger living space and an extra bedroom" - to the reality. I find it extremely rewarding to create, for example, the new storey that enables the owners to finally enjoy a stunning coastal view, or a new master bedroom where the sun streams in every morning.
