Established in 2003, Oakland Vale is a team of Architectural Designers and Build Consultants with a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Specialising in the design and construction of bespoke homes for self-builders including sustainable, oak framed and eco-friendly properties, we can provide you with a full Architectural Design and Consultation Service from conception through to completion. A fully managed design and build service, in conjunction with one of our partner builders is also available.

Founding member, Darren Blackwell and Sue Ferguson are the co-directors of Oakland Vale Ltd. Established in 2003, we are a team of Architectural Designers and Build Consultants based in East Sussex. Our ethos is to ensure your vision becomes reality. Darren creates the stunning hand-drawn conceptual designs that bring our clients visions to life. Darren has over 30 years experience in the building industry, and has spent over 15 years as an Architectural Designer. Designing bespoke homes including oak-framed properties for various clients such as self-builders.

Clients throughout the South East of England have benefitted from a full design and build service with the Oakland Vale and Acer Homes partnership. With the combination of design work from conception to the construction of your project to completion, the seamless and integrated process gives our clients confidence and peace of mind that their particular project is being handled with the due diligence and passion such schemes command. Clients who wish to choose the design and build route are offered a personal service, with both Darren and Keith, Directors of the partnering Companies attending the initial meeting, where your requirements are evaluated and thereafter, a budget cost plan is produced and presented to you.
