Capital Joinery Services specialize in the supply and fit of every window type across the Lothians. We have a great rapport with most window fabricators, so we can get the best service and prices possible on the day. We are joiners first so when you desire a good finish internally and externally your best to get a reputable joinery firm in to fit from start to finish. We can supply and fit all plank type flooring to the highest standard and we carry out remedial works to your original floors like fixing squeaky boards and patching rotting timbers.

About Us
Capital Joinery Services was established in 2008 by Kris Stevenson. Before CJS Kris worked on several large Edinburgh developments like the EICA Ratho, Dundas House, Strada development and The Scottish Parliament construction. In 12 years Working on numerous projects around Scotland Kris gained the skills and experience to start his own company. Since forming CJS we have gained a great Client base such as Edinburgh film-house, Raga Muffin, Arcadia Nursery and the Eric Liddell Centre to name but a few.

Unable to open /close main door due to swollen door frame caused by water ingress from flat above, kris fixed the door so it now can open /close easily, he quickly got the job done, I would use this skilled joiner again and highly recommend his service.

I had door serviced after it jammed on locking. Kris was very helpful, as repair proved to be more complicated than expected and involved getting new locking mechanism made to ensure repair worked properly.
We were going off on holiday and Kris ensured job completed quickly before we went off.
have used Capital Joinery many times over the years, and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends/neighbours.

Thoroughly recommend Kris, he Initially repaired the Georgian sash windows, however I was so impressed by his professional approach, skills and demeanour I had Kris fit a new bespoke kitchen and flooring within an awkwardly shaped space. Not only was he proactive but reliable a rare quality in today's society.
Can't recommend him enough!

This is the second time I have used Capital Joinery and I am delighted again with the work carried out. Kris created a bespoke cupboard to match my other kitchen units, to house a new hidden extractor fan. He has excellent attention to detail and I will definitely use again.

We had purchased a new front door and required work to fit it in an old stairwell. Uncertain of if it would fit, with a new frame also purchased beforehand, Kris from Capital Joinery Services came and advised us of what work would be done, and how to fit the new frame into the existing entrance in the best way. Excellent work and craft, the door and frame were fitted in one day, and all to the quoted price.
Communication with Kris was excellent, and his work was first-class. I will definitely use him and Capital Joinery Services for any future work we have.

We had joinery work done on a window where some of the wood had rotted and we had some windows replaced with double glazed units. This was the first time that we had used Capital Joinery Services and the service and quality of work was excellent from start to finish.

We have used Kris at the Eric Liddell Centre for a number of jobs including fixing sticking doors, reinforcing part of our wooden floor and building wooden steps and bannister to our cafe annex.
