The way we manage trees & hedges in the UK is critical to meeting it's climate change targets & cutting greenhouse gas emissions. We recognise the need to promote forestry as a viable industry within our landscape, the need to bring forward housing development predominantly within brown-field sites, to promote large scale tree planting initiatives & manage trees & hedges appropriately within the planning context in our urban & rural environments.
