Feb 12, 2018 Report
Sadly our experience was not 5*. It was very poor not really even worthy of 1* but I was not give a zero star option. Very tardy responses and the plans that were drawn up did not reflect the instructions given in terms of the interior layout (the exterior was perfect though - thank you). Most frustrating and we have now parted company as I need an architect that listens to instructions and turns round plans within given deadlines and not weeks after (following chaser emails).

Our good friends have also had the same experience of deadlines never being met. So long as you are happy to be driven by Joe's timetable and not your own, you will enjoy working with him. Our friends managed this by giving him deadlines well before they actually needed the work to be done to ensure that he got them the things they needed within their deadlines. I do not like to work like this. I do not find it at all professional. Joe's response was that the reason he does not meet deadlines is because he has so many clients but I think that was part of the problem. Joe has too many clients requiring too much work to be done and though he means well, he cannot physically get all the work done.
