Conservation architect specialists and architect consultants. Soul Architects, based in Nottinghamshire, are a highly professional architectural practice offering exceptional architectural services at all levels of client requirements. Our architect services cover a wide range of projects, from ecclesiastical to historic buildings and hotels to residential. From windmills to churches, from hotels to farms, we are passionate about the work we do. We have sympathy and pride for the different buildings that we work on and as our name "soul" might suggest, we believe the solution to the problem often comes from within.

Soul Architects are passionate and committed to giving you what you want. We combine your ideas with ours to inspire the design and blend this with our technical expertise to prepare detailed drawings and specifications for the delivery of your project. Our architect services cover a wide range of projects, from ecclesiastical to historic buildings and hotels to residential. We like the challenges involved in all of our projects and look forward to having the opportunity to discuss yours with you.

Soul Architects bring you creative design skills, professional services and technical expertise - we will lead you through the entire architectural process from initial concept through to completion. We will advise and guide you through the planning and building regulation processes and other statutory obligations that you may need to comply with and we can deal with all of the relevant authorities on your behalf. We will specify materials and finishes and can explore the running and maintenance costs of these.

Having considerable experience on ecclesiastical buildings, we can undertake work to all grade listings. Carl is an Architectural Advisor for both Southwell & Nottingham and Lincoln Diocesan Advisory Committees and we are on the approved list of ecclesiastic architects for Leeds, Derby, Lincoln, Sheffield, York, Southwell & Nottingham and Leicester. Each church must, by law, appoint a suitable person to undertake Quinquennial Inspections of the church building and its curtilage. Under the Inspection of Churches Measure 1955, only those Architects and Surveyors approved by the DAC can undertake the Quinquennial Inspection of any church.
