Emanuel's Curtains blinds and shutters are an established family business in Whitstable, Kent with over 30 years experience in design and installation of window furnishing, re-upholstery and interior design. We work closely with both domestic and commercial clients. Our retail shop in Whitstable is home to many fabric, wallpaper, blind & shutter samples as well as an eclectic range of home & garden products rangeing from patio awnings, chic furniture to mirrors and lighting. Emanuel's Wood Venetian blinds are made to measure in the UK by brands such as Luxaflex, Global, Styleline and NV blinds. Wood venetian blinds offer full shade control and can add great character to both smaller and larger windows. Decorative fascia and ladder tapes are optional extras along with a choice of metalic and wooden cord pulls. Emanuel's can also supply wood venetian perfect fit blinds which are fitted to upvc doors and windows in a framed system requiring no drilling or screws. See 'perfect fit blinds' for more info.

Emanuel's supply and install conservatory roof blinds in Kent and London using the perfect fit pleated roof system. Conservatory roof blinds are proven cool a conservatory in the height of summer and help retain heat throughout the cooler months. Conservatory roof blinds are available in a wide range of pleated fabrics, all of which are solar protective. Select lines can come with a blackout backing. The perfect fit pleated roof blind can be opened and closed using a telescopic hand wand. Other tension pleated roof blind designs can be motorised such as our Luxaflex range.

Emanuel's bespoke bend many different designs of corded, uncorded and electric tracks to suit bay windows.

Emanuel's Skylight blinds are made to measure and fitted throughout Kent, London and the South East. Window brands Emanuel's can cater for include Velux, Fakro and Keylite. Blinds for other window brands can be sourced on request. Our Skylight blinds include designs for roller, venetian and pleated. Each bespoke to the window code and recessed within a neat framework. Skylight blinds are fully child safe and can be operated by hand and at height using a telescopic wand. Skylight windows can also be installed with power either nearby or integrated which opens up the ability to use electric operated blinds.

We offer a design and installation service or supply only with all made to measure Curtains, blinds and shutters. It is recommended that more bespoke applications such as bay window track, electric operation blinds & tracks, shaped shutters & blinds, pelmets and roof blinds be installed by Emanuel's experienced team. Our designers will survey, design and work closely with the client to bring their ideas to life. Our experienced installation team will then install the designs with precision and care.

Emanuel's roller blinds are from leading brand name suppliers such as Luxaflex, Decora, Global and Louverlite. A wide range of pattern, blackout, plain, pvc and designer finsihes are available in manual and mains electric & battery operation. Our roman blinds are designed and made in Whitstable. Fabrics used include collections from Sanderson, Romo, Designers Guild and Blendworth. Emanuel's make all Roman blinds on either manual chain operated systems, battery remote or mains electric operation.

Roller blinds are an ever popular addition to the home or workplace. With over a thousand designs to choose from Emanuel's can craft the perfect roller blind for any window area. Chain operated as standard, all roller blinds are fully child safe with breakable chain components and wall mounted clips supplied as standard. Our Roller designs can now incorporate pelmets, decorative braid, pull cords and magnetic accessories to finish. For larger windows we use larger tube sizes for greater stability and durability.

Our Roman blinds are handmade in Whitstable, designed and created bespoke to your window. Our fabric collections used to create the perfect Roman blind include Sanderson, Designers Guild, Romo and Clarke & Clarke. Roman blinds can be lined, interlined or blackout lined which is ideal for bedrooms. Emanuel's roman blinds are fully child safe with all control cords and chains being integrated with the industry stanadard clips and wall fastenings. Our unique electric range includes battery operated roman blinds and mains electric options for larger and more heavy roman blinds.

Our Faux wood plantation shutter collection is a current best seller. This water proof and robust shutter is a rival and great alternative to 'real wood'. Emanuel's faux wood shutters are both China and UK Made. UK made designs can be installed within a month of order and offer a fantastic colour pallette along side the more commonly used white and offf whites. Tier on tier, full height, cafe and shapes can all be made using faux wood. Great fro bathrooms and wetrooms. Emanuel's Bass wood plantation shutters are made to the highest standards and are imported from China.

Vertical blinds offer full shade control and are especially ideal on large winows, patio door and long drop windows. Our collections include designs made using standard fabrics, blackout fabrics, the popular rigid pvc and metal louvres. Full shade control can be gained by turning the slats left to right and when not in use the blind can stack back to a single side or both sides. Vertical blinds are also ideal for a sloped window depending on the gradient. Our Luxaflex designs are the ideal solution for sloped windows as seen in our video below.
