Established in Southampton, Hampshire in 1976 and with 40 years' experience, New-Air has grown as one of the key players in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industries in southern England. We operate within the southern counties of Great Britain within a 70 mile radius of Southampton in order to maintain an efficient and reliable service. This means that we offer our air conditioning services to Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Winchester, Salisbury and furthermore. We are certified through CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services London) to carry out Air Conditioning Energy Assessments.
Whether you are looking for the ability to extract stale air from small area or provide a tempered supply and extract fresh air system within a large scale office environment, we are able to specify a solution to meet your requirements. Heat Recovery Ventilation can be installed to reduce the energy load on your buildings air conditioning systems. When a room is cooled or heated, the exhausted cooling / heating energy is recovered back into the environment by a heat exchanger. We are able to install MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) within a wide range of environments from a small domestic dwelling to a large office environment so you can be assured that you will be kept as fresh as a daisy.
We are certified through CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services London) to carry out Air Conditioning Energy Assessments. An Air Conditioning Energy Assessment will enable you to meet the requirements of Energy Performance of Building (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007. Mandatory inspections have been introduced for all air conditioning systems with rated cooling output greater than 12kW. This includes the combined output of one or more air conditioning units within a building or company site.
New-Air have successfully completed the installation of multiple air conditioning systems at a newly built distribution centre for a clothing manufacturer. We have invested in the Zoomlock tool which enables the jointing of interconnecting copper pipe services without the need for hot works onsite. The Zoomlock jointing process uses compression fittings as opposed to traditional jointing techniques which involve the use of Oxygen Free Nitrogen for purging and Oxy-Acetylene and Oxy-Propane for brazing.
Whether you have a small air conditioning unit leaking water, a cold room that isn't cold or a defunct centralised plant that requires an overhaul we are on hand to provide both regular maintenance contracts and one-off air conditioning repairs. In addition we operate a 24hr / 365 day callout service for our contract customers giving peace of mind that an engineer is only a phone call away in the case of an emergency. Our on call engineer will contact you to discuss your needs and we will endeavour to offer a maximum 4 hour response time to site.
We work with a wide variety of manufacturers' equipment and are certified dealers of Foster Refrigerator equipment. To discuss what the best setup of refrigeration equipment is right for your home or your business then please just get in touch and speak to a member of our team - we're always happy to help.
We have been carrying out refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning installations for over 40 years and have a wealth of experience working within a large number of business sectors. Whether it's a small local shop or a large industrial warehouse that you are looking to cool or heat, you can rely on us to be the one stop shop for all of your needs. After your initial enquiry a member of our projects teams will attend site to carry out a free no obligation site assessment to establish your requirements.
Air conditioning has developed as a highly efficient means of either cooling or heating an environment and with the use of inverter technology there is the ability to make large savings on energy bills; regardless of needs, there is almost certainly an air conditioning system that's right for you. Split type systems are the simplest form of air conditioning installation, consisting of one internal fan coil unit connected to an outdoor condenser unit via small bore insulated copper tubing and electrical cabling.
