We are Architects, Landscape Architects, Environmental Designers and Conservation Specialists. Registered with the Architects Registration Board, we are also chartered architects with the Royal Institute of British Architects; we use their standard management procedures. In practice since 1988, we have been at this address since 1999 and a limited company since 2007. We have over 44 years experience (as of July 2020). We provide the full range of standard architectural services from initial briefing to final certification; as well as many other specialist services as well.

We believe in supporting the local economy and having face to face relationships with all our clients. We have a friendly and personal approach, you can always get us on the phone, or visit our office. We strive to work with the community, using local contractors, suppliers and builders. We have a reputation for designing innovative new ecological buildings, and bring this passion for sustainability into all of our designs.

At DSH we are a chartered practice, having over 40 years experience designing a wide range of buildings of which includes private houses, art galleries, community centres, hotels, schools, surgeries, pubs and churches. We have a reputation for working with listed buildings and providing unique innovative ecological design. We offer the full range of architectural services to help you with your building project, including initial feasibility studies, planning applications, building regulations, tenders and site supervision, project management, landscape design, building surveys and planning consultancy.

The practice has a long history of working with private and commercial clients, designing and building residential properties. We design new build houses, multiple occupancy buildings, extensions sympathetic to existing houses and renovations to older residential buildings.

DSH Architects has considerable experience in the renovation and conservation of older buildings, including Listed Buildings, Historic Conservation of Churches and Period Buildings. Many of the buildings shown in our gallery are older buildings that have been converted or extended to suit clients present needs. We work sensitively to incorporate clients requirements within the historic context of an existing building.
