After leaving a well paid job, Tom purchased a mower, a trailer, and some hand tools and set up as T.R.and J.Rutherford Landscaping. In 1989, Tom and Joanna built Millstone Garden Centre, on Cheapside in Waltham near Grimsby. The work is very enjoyable and our staff are great, a big thank you to our employees who have played an important role in delivering great customer service, knowledge and hard graft. Without these members of staff, there would be no Millstone Garden Centre! Millstone Garden Centre has now matured into a solid business of landscaping and supplying goods and services required to create and maintain beautiful gardens and landscapes.

Millstone Garden Centre have a great range of Spring/Summer bedding plugs and potted plants, plants are our passion. Whether its evergreens, perennials, little alpines or striking mature shrubs and trees, we\'ll have something to cater to all gardens. Water well the day before moving. Firm in well after transplanting and 'puddle' in the plants with plenty of water (this means filling the hole with water several times before adding soil). Climbing Rose "Arthur Bell" is a climbing Rose with good, glossy green foliage and sprays of fragrant, creamy-yellow flowers in summer and autumn.
