Jar Architecture is a North Wales and Chester based RIBA Architect practice delivering bespoke residential and commercial buildings. From contemporary enhancements to new-build architecture, renovations, extensions and planning, our North Wales architectural company specialises in schemes that are timeless, considered, and of the highest quality. We build stunning creative architecture across Conwy, Anglesey, Abersoch, Llandudno and Cheshire. Jar Architecture is a registered RIBA Architect and CIAT Chartered Architectural Practice.

Most new buildings or major alterations / extensions to existing buildings require planning permission and therefore a planning application will need to be made to your local planning authority. At JAR Architecture we can advise at the design stage on whether or not your proposed building works requires planning permission. The Town and Country Planning General Permitted Development Order 1995 grants planning permission for certain types of minor developments without the need for a formal application.

We act for both private clients and commercial clients and can assist with the following; domestic extensions and alterations, loft conversions, renovations, conversions, new build, commercial projects, listed buildings consents, grant aided projects and dilapidations. We ensure that all necessary consultants are appointed at the correct times to ensure that the project runs as smoothly as possible. JAR Architecture is dedicated to providing the best architectural service to help you achieve your vision and unleash your home's potential.

JAR Architecture was established by James Roobottom in 2011, initially working on small residential projects and has since developed into a multidisciplinary practice specialising in high-end residential and commercial developments. We now have a team of highly skilled Architects and Technologists who are members of RIBA and CIAT delivering dynamic architectural design across North Wales and Chester who are passionate about architecture and the natural living environment. We work on residential and commercial commissions across North Wales and Cheshire for a diverse set of clients providing a creative and economical solution that is fully suited to their requirements.
