Peter Johnson Partnership was established in 1985, and in 2008 the practice became a limited liability partnership called PJP Architects LLP. Since its inception the practice has undertaken a wide range of public and private sector projects. The practice operates from its own office premises built in 2001 within the North Ness Business Park in the centre of Lerwick. We consider ourselves to be a friendly and approachable office with a flexible and open-minded approach to design and have forged a good working relationship with a regular repeat customer base.

We can provide a full range of Architectural services and the extent of the service we offer can be tailored to suit your particular needs. With the strong tradition of self-build houses in Shetland, our involvement in many domestic projects will end once the Building Warrant for the work has been obtained as clients take the decision to manage the construction process themselves. However we can offer services beyond this point, ranging from a full service where we will manage the appointment of a contractor and the construction contract on your behalf, to occasional assistance and advice where required.
