There are three divisions within the Wealdens group, firstly Grounds and Cleaning, then our specialist division for Disabled Adaptations and finally we a have a bulk rubbish and fly tip removal service. Our main office and recycling facility is located in Lingfield on the Surrey/Sussex border with nearby links to the M25 and M23. We are ideally placed to manage services to clients with schemes right across the South East covering all the London boroughs south of the River Thames plus the counties of Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Berkshire.
All are certificated to carry our tree works and trained to work within strict health and safety guidelines and our quality management systems. We welcome enquiries for just one tree to managing and maintaining all of the tree stock under your responsibility. We work on your behalf ensuring minimal disruption, maximum health and safety for your residents, abiding by all legislation, working closely with tree officers and councils to ensure your trees do not cause you concern.
Our Grounds Maintenance division provides an all year round service covering the entire South East of England including Essex, Suffolk, Greater London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Herts. All work is carried out by local teams of experienced trained staff to a high standard of workmanship. Wealdens were their chosen contractor for grounds maintenance, cleaning and small works (external) projects. We worked closely with Tower Homes to deliver the best possible services and the Best Major Contractor Gold Award was the client's recognition of our contribution to help secure this accreditation. This also included void works and reactive repairs for L&Q general needs and sheltered housing schemes across the South East Thames Region. L&Q gave this award in recognition of the service we provide to L&Q residents.
When Moat Homes awarded us their grounds maintenance for every scheme in the South East of England we said "we want to be in your office with you, working alongside you". Our Moat Contract Liaison Manager is based in Moat's Dartford HQ, working alongside housing officers, team leaders and contract managers. Wealdens maintained the grounds at Roundshaw for five years. Initially we tendered to attend once a fortnight as per the specification, but, when we sat down and listened to the residents, they wanted something quite different.
