Swept Away is a small, friendly family-oriented chimney sweep firm aiming to provide a first-class service for all its customers. For your, and our, convenience we have an office where we can arrange bookings and answer your queries. We do not repair chimneys, line them or fit wood burners but concentrate solely on sweeping and inspecting all flues and appliances. We invest heavily in our business to provide a first-class modern service while upholding the traditions of our trade. Although we have been invited to join the various chimney sweep associations which have sprung up over the last decade, we prefer to maintain our independence and loyalty to our customers while having a congenial working relationship with all the other bodies in our trade.

As a chimney sweep qualified in infection control and prevention who is about to go back to work I urge extreme caution allowing tradesmen into your home - several have worked straight through the peak of the epidemic with a reckless disregard for your safety if a tradesman turns up at your door.
It has come to our attention that a few sweeps are still working in our area please be aware this is amazingly irresponsible as tradesmen we can be vectors for this dreadful virus think carefully if you are happy to let a tradesman into your home who through their own personal greed are happy to sacrifice potentially hundreds of peoples health including yours to make a profit.
