R Baron Ltd specialises in joinery, joinery manufacture, shopfitting, plumbing and heating, domestic and retail maintenance, but also offer a full contracting service utilising smaller local sub-contractors, who work with us on a regular basis. We are able to provide a prompt and efficient service for routine and emergency call out works. R Baron Ltd are members of the National Federation of Builders (NFB), the Building Woodworking Federation (BWF), the Government approved Constructionline and CHAS Registered, Gas Safe Registered and all Employees have CSCS cards and are kept up to date with their specific qualifications and training.

This family business, founded in 1915 and Incorporated in 1918 - now in it's fourth generation - has diversified to meet the needs of its varied customer base. Our team of highly experienced and qualified joiners can provide all aspects of joinery - for example easing of doors; repairs to windows/ doors; cabinet/ furniture repairs; flooring; stairs etc. or the design and installation of a new kitchen, an extension to your home or any general home improvements. Our team of Gas Safe qualified technical plumbing engineers can provide an all year round service in all aspects of plumbing.

Our team of highly experienced and qualified Site Managers and Joiners co-ordinate projects from Tender to Completion. Creating the vision of the retailer by liaising with all relevant trades to achieve the programme of works, meeting deadlines and encompassing all elements of 'fitting out' to the clients request. In our 18,000 sq ft purpose built workshops, we can easily accommodate all aspects of joinery from small scale to large scale projects. Having over 60 years of reactive maintenance service to the retail industry, we pride ourselves in working to a high standard with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
