Services
Chimney Sweeping
Our professional chimney sweeping service follows a strict code of practice using appropriate brushes and industrial vacuum equipment. We systematically clean flues while containing soot and debris, followed by smoke testing to verify proper draw. The process takes approximately 45 minutes per chimney, with protective sheeting used throughout. Regular maintenance prevents dangerous blockages and ensures safe operation of heating appliances.
Stove Installation
We specialise in HETAS-registered installations of wood burning and multi-fuel stoves. Our process includes chimney assessment, ventilation checks, and hearth requirements evaluation. We offer advice on stove selection and provide complete installations with register plates and flue connections. All work complies with building regulations and includes necessary certification for local authority requirements.
Flue Lining
We install Class 1 stainless steel flue liners suitable for solid fuel appliances. The process involves pre-installation sweeping, liner selection based on appliance requirements, and proper insulation to maintain flue gas temperature. We provide guarantees on materials and workmanship, with pre-lining inspections to identify structural issues.
Bird Guard Fitting
Our bird guard installations prevent nesting while maintaining proper flue function. We offer various designs including stainless steel options that comply with ventilation requirements. The guards prevent debris entry while allowing unrestricted gas flow, reducing blockage risks and associated safety hazards from obstructed chimneys.
CCTV Inspection
We use specialist camera equipment to conduct internal chimney inspections. This non-invasive method identifies structural issues, blockages, or deterioration that may affect performance. The recorded footage helps diagnose problems and provides evidence for insurance claims or property transactions, eliminating guesswork in maintenance planning.
