George Gittins acquired Jet in 1997. It was a small carpet and upholstery cleaning business, which was originally established as a Limited company in 1978 as Jet Carpet Cleaners Ltd. Jet's early work was predominantly focussed on the domestic market throughout the Home Counties and West London. Over the past 20 plus years the business emphasis has shifted markedly to the commercial sector where we now have dedicated teams operating nationally. We now provide a much broader range of cleaning services from carpet and soft furnishings, office cleaning to ceiling and shop front coatings.

As a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) for over 40 years we bring considerable experience and expertise to bear in the care of valuable carpets and rugs, whether wools, Berbers, mixtures or Oriental and Chinese rugs. Keeping rugs and carpets clean is extremely important in the workplace. Health & safety executives are becoming ever more concerned about indoor air quality and the potential ill effects from bacteria, allergens and chemical pollution and also dust giving rise to 'sick building syndrome'.

Jet Cleaning Group has been carrying out end of lease and tenancy cleaning for over 20 years and now has many regular clients including letting agents, contractors, property managers, facilities management and shop fitting companies across Surrey and London.
