At the Kent Log Burner Company Ltd we can advise on the best and most suitable product to be the focal point of your room and heat your house efficiently. There is an extensive range of wood burning stoves on the market today, from traditional to contemporary designs. The most important thing is that you choose a wood burning stove that is right for you. Below are just a few examples. We can supply your wood burning stove or you can choose your own and we will fit it for you.

Original Fireplace, surround and existing fire was carefully removed. All the existing plaster and relevant Chopping out is taken care of by our time served stove installer and all housekeeping and dust etc. is collected by our super extractor fan. The Flu liner is inserted and carefully fed through and installed through the chimney itself. The next stage of the installation process is the installation of the surround and then the repointing of the brickwork within the stack then the stove istelf sits inside with the flu liner connected.

Here are some photos of our work. Having many years of building experience means we can carry out the entire job, from chopping out an existing fireplace, or knocking out to find the original fireplace, repointing brickwork, or smooth plaster finishes, installing solid oak beams and laying the hearth of your choice. No job too big or too small. Before - Old gas fire and suspect brickwork! After - Stunning new center piece of any room, wood burner, brand new brickwork, lintel and hearth.

We believe in only supplying the best materials when we install your wood burning stove. The chimney liner is one of the most important aspects of this as you do not want to install a cheap liner, only to find you need to replace it after a couple of years because it has corroded away. We only fit DURAFLUE liners, either a 316 grade double-skinner, with a 15 year warranty, or a 904 grade, with a 30 year warranty [warranty based on chimney maintenance/sweeping being upheld during the time]. DURAFLUE is manufactured in the UK, but German design and what makes it special is that it is made from two separate layers of stainless steel, so it is more robust and ensuring the liner does not come under any stress or the layers come apart when passing down a chimney flue.

Old electric fire and surround removed, chop out, see the chimney sweep broom coming out the top of the chimney as we sweep the chimney prior to the liner going down. Next the pot and cowl are fitted. New brick chamber built inside, black limestone hearth laid. Chimney breast plastered and new shelf fitted [supplied by client] and then finally lovely Saltfire ST1 Vision stove installed.

We provide a full chimney sweep service throughout Kent. We have been working in the Kent area for many years and have built up a regular client base through referrals and being customer focussed.
