I am able to complete the whole job of installing/renovating your fireplace or stove from opening up the recess, plastering, laying the hearth and all general building work. All works undertaken with be certified according to Nacs and Hetas standards, giving you peace of mind that your chimney and stove are working safely according to building regs. We had 2 log burners installed today by Martyn Hitch and we are very happy with the result and service. Everything went smoothly and Martyn was helpful and informative. With great regret I won't be able to do any works for the next few months. Diagnosed with cancer before Christmas and will start chemo this week for a few months All being well, I will see you all soon on the other side of the Big C once I'm fighting fit again If you do have any questions or need advise, please call - always happy to help (it'll break the monotony of daytime TV).
Given in and lit the stove
Open Fire install last week. Opened up the chamber, removed old clay fire brick to accommodate vintage Victorian cast iron surround, new marble hearth laid. Customer was very happy with end result.
Hi everyone. Looks like suppliers are beginning to open now, so will be able to once again install stoves/bird cowls etc again. Now's the best time to have work done before busy winter season begins. As per the guidelines, ppe will be worn by myself. Regards. Martyn.
