Very friendly and helpful with a great range of yarns, patterns and notions. They know about Ravelry and the latest trends in knitting and crochet too, which helps a lot. Easy parking in the council car park opposite and pubs serving food are adjacent.
Friendly helpful staff on hand to give advice, show how to, find the right yarn & encourage. Has a lovely selection of different yarns for nearly all projects and tastes. One of my happy shops.
We are very happy to report that the shop reopened on Monday 15th June. Yes, I know we don't normally open Mondays and I know we didn't tell you - but I wanted to ease in gently just to gauge whether we had taken the appropriate measures and adjust accordingly. Just as well because it was busy.
And so for probably the first time in 90 years the shop has closed its doors until further notice. It's absolutely the right thing to do to keep everyone safe and well. Thank you all for your support, especially over the last couple of weeks. I hope you all managed to get what you needed to keep occupied and sane! We are allowed to continue trading online so I'll be spending some much needed time updating the website. Who knows, I may actually have some time to do some knitting! If there's.
