West Lancashire Steel Services was founded in 1984 by Stuart Howie to fill a niche in the market; In 2004 WLSS expanded to now offer a shotblasting and painting service alongside all your steel requirements. The company is now trading as WL Shotblast & Spray after merging the two companies in early 2009, the company is still run and owned by Stuart and his close family ensuring an efficient, competitive and reliable service. We offer a high quality paint finish applied by our skilled painters that machines alone simply cannot offer. We can also paint pre galvanised material and offer a film galvanising system which contains 96% Zinc and provides cathodic protection to ferrous metals. It can be used as a unique system as an alternative to hot dip galvanisation or metallisation.
We carry extensive stocks of standard sizes at our warehouse and aim to deliver within 24 hours. We only source materials from quality assured sources and we offer full batch traceability to cast where required.
