Allan Collyer & Sons Ltd are a dynamic family owned and run business operating from a base near to Bungay in Suffolk. Our range of activities include agricultural and sports turf drainage, utilities installation, earthmoving, all-weather horse arena construction, lakes, ponds and conservation work, civil engineering and large pad construction. We're not afraid to innovate and have pride and commitment in our work, a sentiment shared by our work force. The company was started by Allan Collyer in 1980 as an agricultural land drainage contractor, who prior to this had been working for another contractor since 1962.
This encompasses many different aspects of the company, ranging from culvert construction to underground tank installation and waste water containment and treatment. A recent area of growth has been the construction of bases for large storage and poultry buildings, with the introduction of higher welfare and free range units we have completed several of these over the last 5 years and pride ourselves in keeping to a deadline and to budget. We use the most up to date methods including CAD design and laser guidance and control for our excavators and graders.
