Back in the 1950s, Anthony Faulkner began providing solid fuel, gas and oil installations and plumbing services to local clients. His success led to the firm's registration as a limited company in 1964 - and so Faulkners was born. Faulkners are an MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) accredited installer. The MCS has been designed to evaluate installers against robust criteria providing greater protection for consumers. It is the only certification scheme to cover all renewable energy systems, such as Ground/Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar energy technology, and has support from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, industry and non-governmental groups as a prime method for making a substantial contribution to cutting the UK's dependency on fossil fuels and carbon dioxide emissions.
