Our client acquired this site in the West Park area of Hartlepool and demolished an existing bungalow to allow them to develop a new larger executive house with a living space of over 130m2 to each floor. We were appointed as principal contractor for the works following the initial design stage of the works being undertaken by the client with their own independent architect. We undertook a comprehensive scope of works including all groundwork's, superstructure, M&E installation, internal fit out, and finally the external hard & soft landscaping.

Seymour Construction were contracted to undertake the groundworks package for a new sports facility on the university campus. Our client/principal contractor were required to demolish a dilapidated existing steel frame building and construct a new building in its place using the existing foundations with the addition of other extensions to suit the updated floor plan. Seymour Construction were contracted by Wynyard Park to undertake site clearance works to circa 10 acres of woodland which had recently been felled by others. We completed the works using CAT 953 track loaders and Volvo A25C dumptrucks. The works were required in advance of the clients proposed development of the site for executive self build homes. Seymour Construction have been working on behalf of Hartlepool Water on various water treatment facilities in the area to undertake civils maintenance and minor works. Works undertaken includes the construction of reinforced concrete bunds, hardstanding areas, and also works to outfall structures. Seymour Construction were awarded the contract to undertake the installation of a new 450mm diameter effluent drainage systems on site. All drainage works were designed to a chemical resistant specification due to the nature of the effluent waste to be discharged by the client. Pre construction connectivity survey of existing site drainage systems to ensure the design proposals were viable. 450m of new 450mm diameter pipework, with elements of the work involving on line replacement requiring over pumping systems to be established and maintained for the duration of the works.
