At Carr Farm we believe a business, just like a plant, takes time to grow and needs the right amount of nurturing and care. As a garden centre we've been growing with you for over 30 years and we have no desire to stop now. Through the years, we've grown very organically. We've responded, just as plants do, to our environment and local conditions. We started life as a farm and grew naturally into a nursery and then into a small garden centre to now becoming a local favourite destination garden centre and Wirral tourist attraction.

As the summers become warmer, many are staying at home rather than going abroad and looking to make their outdoor living spaces into an extension of their home. Our ranges of plants, pots and garden decor will help you to seamlessly transform those living spaces with stylish designs and vibrant colours. From dwarf rhododendrons to massive Olive trees, there's a wide choice of trees, shrubs and perennials perfect for decorative pots and planters on your terrace or patio areas. Pots are available in decorative resin, ceramic or wooden with a variety of designs and colours for you to ponder.

The score is in regards to the Atrium Restaurant and Cafe and toilet facilities. Unfortunately the baby change has no loo for parents in it l and the option of going to the ladies loo with a pram and peeing with the door open was not one I fancied. Only other option is to use disabled loo after having used the baby change but it was in use. As lovely as the restaurant looks now (it's been years since I've been) the only vegan options were beans on jacket potato or veg soup. I wish I'd picked the beans and jacket, it was OK but small and expensive for what it actually is and nothing special. Due to the huge amount of signage saying speak to us about allergens and what is in your food I had some hope of options being readily available. That being said the staff were nice.

Shockingly bad service in Carr farm. Advise everybody to avoid. Or don't buy anything because if it's wrong you won't get your money back, even if you bought it an hour ago. Disgusting outdated policy that doesn't allow customer to change their mind. Will never shop there again.

We come a lot and usually love it. We have eaten in the cafe on lots of occasions and staff are usually clued up on meal ingredients. I was really disappointed on Wednesday when I visited with my 2 young children who have allergies. I asked the server if she could check if 2 meals contained any ingredients my little ones couldn't have. After returning from the kitchen she said that first meal probably does and the other item couldn't be checked as the packaging had been thrown away! Despite having a sign that says to ask for details of food if any allergies or intolorances. The staff clearly didnt have a clue. After asking if there was anything they could have, they answered "I dont know!" I was furious. We had to go hungry and wait another half an hour to leave as we had painted pottery drying. Won't be back to the cafe in a hurry!

What's new?
