Supply only is also available. This unique service covers all the following joinery and construction in hard, soft and engineered timbers; Box Sash Windows, Casement Windows, Front Doors, French Doors, Sliding Bi-folding Doors, Conservatories, and Glass Lantern Roofs.

With experience gleaned over the past three centuries The Traditional Window & Conservatory Company (TWCC) has continued in the tradition of making bespoke crafted timber windows and doors in the U.K. using the finest materials and methods. 2 years ago, we had 10 new wooden sash windows made and installed on the rear and side elevations by The Traditional Window and Conservatory Company, this was after initially approaching 10+ companies and meeting up with 3. As I type this they are back at our house replacing the whole of our front elevation being 4 sash and 6 casement windows, so as you can tell we think their windows are great.

Our surveyors and craftsmen will work directly with you to help achieve the design and specifications you require. All combine to maximise thermal insulation, durability, safety and security, whilst maintaining the original period detail and character. Many traditional hinged casement windows, although flush fitting, have subtle profiles and period detail inside and out. Our casements are individually made with the closest attention to detail to preserve the original character and design. Some casement bays are load bearing and require thoughtful design, construction and installation.

We also offer services for Period style steel Critall windows, draught proofing and renovation or replacement of Traditional Decorative Leaded Glass together with our own ironmongery supplies for greater choice, and all other necessary building work. We are a FENSA Registered Window Joinery Company and as such will arrange for the Building Regulation Certificate of Compliance to be issued following any window/door replacement. This document confirms that the work carried out is fully compliant with current Building Regulations and is also needed to help calculate the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for your home.

Each traditional sash window is individually made following the period detail, profiles and proportions of the original, including sash horns, cord and weight mechanisms.
