Really disappointed in Towelrads Ltd and would avoid them in future. Working in property management, it is in my best interest to have the best items which are built to last installed into my properties. Towelrads do not produce products which are built to last. I had the items installed in 2018 but they didn't work very well last year and they've completely stopped this year. Contacted Towelrads to let them know the products just don't work anymore and asked them to send me a manual. They told me they could only send me a manual for a newer model and then led me to their website and said I would need to buy a new one??? Consumer rights Act 2015 dictates items should last a reasonable time. Considering it's only used 50% of the year, it's unacceptable that:
- It's already broken
- I haven't been able to receive the relevant manual from the manufacturer
- Been advised to buy a product from a brand who has little customer service skill and considers their products to last 2 years.
They've completely ignored my last email so I will need to take this further.
