Went to a wedding here on Saturday and the venue was lovely. It included the ceremony the meal and the disco all in one room which was really a great idea as nobody had to wander too far. My only complaint is the meal served which was beef roast dinner. Not an issue for most but I am gluten and dairy free which the venue had been informed about in advance. Unfortunately this actually meant for me the same meal as the others but with dry boiled potatoes and no gravy. The roast beef unfortunately was also really dry so it made the meal quite difficult to swallow. Out of respect for the bridal party I didn't make a big deal out of it but for future guests, can I suggest that you invest in some gluten free gravy granules ( Bisto do a glass jar of gravy granules called Bisto Best which have no wheat in) and perhaps some dairy free spread as a back up.
Great buffet on saturday night. Loads of choices to please everyone. Choice of hot dishes and cold meats as well. Salads and numerous sorts of potatoes. Everyone else i spoke to had the same great opinion. Excellent. Excellent. I have never had a bad meal at Kirkistown golf club.
