Me and my now wife booked our wedding at the Isla on Friday (25/5/18) and we have no idea where to even begin with the praise for the place. We had the service, meal and night time all in there and from start to finish we were made to feel welcome. John and the staff went above and beyond for not just the two of us, but for all our guests. At one point, one of the members of staff even went outside and pushed our friends baby in the pram, insisting that he went back in and ate his meal! We had originally hoped to get married outside, but the weather never agreed with us, so the service took place inside, I was worried about how smoothly changing the room around would go, but while we were having our pictures taken, we didn't even realise that there were tables and chairs being moved next to us. From beginning to end, John spoke to us to make sure our day was going the way we wanted it to, and knowing how busy we were in the night time, welcoming guests, he even brought us some of the buffet over and made sure we sat down to eat it and take some time to relax a little. All of our guests have commented on how well the day went and how lovely all of the staff were.
Had our home wedding party last night at Isla and couldn't recommend the venue enough! It was absolutely wonderful and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. I forgot some bits when we got to the venue and they went the shop to get it all for me! Went above and beyond! Thank you so much for such an enjoyable party. If you book your event with them you will not be disappointed. Absolutely wonderful
We couldn't have been more happier with the Isla Gladstone. Rachael was fantastic in helping us organise the whole day in the months leading up and John was amazing on the day. The food, timing, decoration, staff were all great and couldn't recommend the venue highly enough. Thanks from the new Mr and Mrs Lester xx
