Shire Conservatories was set up by Gavin Jones and Steve Osborne, Gavin from a customer service and business background, and Steve with over 30 years technical & installation experience. They formed Shire Conservatories after working together as employees of the same company, and realising that there was a gap in the market offering the highest quality product at realistic prices coupled with great customer service. Today, this is still the core objective of the Company. At the start, the Company operated from a small office in Shrewsbury, but that was soon outgrown as their reputation grew.

The RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM Rubber Roofing System is one of the toughest materials known for resistance to weather wind and sun. It is a rubber roofing system that is designed and proven to outlast conventional flat roofing materials. Our EPDM rubber roofing system repels all moisture and does not suffer with age from cracking or crazing making it perfect for all roofs - replacing existing roofs or for use with extensions and new builds. Through patented technology, a non-woven polyester fleece is laminated to the underside of the standard RubberBond EPDM making FleeceBack a more substantial and stronger EPDM product.

A period style window with distinctive traditional aesthetics, the Traditional Lipped Casement offers a modern method of operation with enhanced security features as standard. Creating a lipped profile the sash stands proud of the frame, ideal for period properties where extra protection from the elements is required. Excellent sound proofing properties are achieved with a double weather seal around the sash and friction hinges are used to provide modern functionality.
