Shropshire Cladding and Glazed extensions have been at the forefront of the home improvement industry since 1982. Originally based in Coton Hill Shrewsbury, the business was founded by Derek Riches my father. We were one of Shropshires first companies to offer a quality installation of PVC Fascia and soffit.

The colour of the roof and side frames is anthracite grey. Rather than using a pvc roof and frames we installed aluminium tilt and turn windows and a 3 pane bifold door which opens out to the right. To give this project a contemporary feel the blinds are fitted in between the sealed unit. Additionally inside we have the loggia "livinroom" effect where we can install down lights into the pelmet.

This tiled roof will transform your conservatory into an exciting home space without the added cost. The new roof has structural bars which are similar to the roof bars on a standard glass roof but rather than fitting glass or polycarbonate to this roof we will install 40 mm of high quality insulation between the bars, then 25 mm of insulation to the underside of the complete roof then finish with 72mm of insulated plasterboard with a skim coat of plaster.

So we can replace tired old polycarbonate roofs with an up today polycarbonate which may be heat guard polycarbonate which is 35mm thick - or a more popular option is the replacement of the complete roof with a modern roof with Pilkington self cleaning glass either with a subtle blue or aqua tint.

The roofline areas of your house which consist of the fascia boards, soffits and bargeboards or gable ends are one of the most vulnerable areas of your home - exposed to all weather conditions. Hazards such as blocked gutters result in water overflowing onto the timber fascia, causing them to rot. There is an answer to the problem - a permanent cure which not only removes the worry of expensive replacement of rotten timbers but eliminates permanently the need for re-painting.
