Traditional Furniture Manufacturing Ltd has many years experience in crafting bespoke doors to an array of shapes and sizes and all produced from the finest quality materials. We can manufacture new doors to match in with your existing doors and windows. In fact we can design and manufacture any kind of door for any purpose in your home or garden, including; internal doors, external doors, folding doors and sliding doors. The windows of a building are its eyes and how they look can drastically change the character of any building.

All of our furniture is made by hand at our workshop in Sheffield, using the craft skills of our own joiners. The furniture features traditional joinery techniques such as dovetailing and mortise and tenon joints which will stand the test of time. We also use hardwood cabinet frames, extra thick doors, and recessed butt hinges which are just some of the hallmarks of our brand. Materials are carefully sourced, and we use wood from sustainable sources, with timber often arriving on-site in its raw state.

From inspiration to installation, we aim to make it easy for you to envisage your dream bespoke kitchen or room furnishing. When it comes to planning your room -whether you have lots of ideas, or not sure where to start, our expert team has a wealth of experience in design and interior space planning. One of our designers will visit you at your home during this phase, to discuss your requirements. Once agreed they will provide you with a beautiful, hand drawn illustration, ground plan, elevations and estimate together with a full 3D design proposal so that you can visualise exactly what your dream bespoke kitchen or furniture will look like before it has been commissioned.

Traditional Furniture Manufacturing Ltd was founded in 1986, when our Managing Director followed in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather before him - carpenters, all. From the outset, our company has been based on a history and heritage of family values and on the fine traditions and skills of carpentry and joinery. Our factory showroom and workshops are based on Bamforth Street in Sheffield within easy reach of the motorway and well serviced by local transport. From here, for more than 25 years, our highly-skilled workforce have maintained these values in every single customer commission.
