As award-winning British designers and manufacturers, Rencraft have been making the finest bespoke kitchens and furniture in our workshop on Chart Farm, near Sevenoaks in Kent for 40 years. We pride ourselves on bringing together design expertise, the highest quality materials and exceptional client service. Since 2012 our Tunbridge Wells kitchen design studio has also partnered with well-respected German kitchen manufacturer SieMatic. This enables us to offer our clients an unrivalled choice when it comes to selecting their preferred kitchen style.

We have received or been shortlisted for numerous industry accolades, including winning two Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Award ‘s for Best of British Design and Manufacturing (2020 and 2016) and also five Houzz Best of Design Awards (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016).

What makes a bespoke kitchen by Rencraft so special? Handmade cabinets, in-frame doors, solid wood drawers and exposed hinges are just some of the features we offer along with a choice of Oak, Walnut, or Primed cabinets which are then hand-painted on site in whichever colour you choose. The choice of styles is endless too, from classic to country, from traditional to contemporary, maybe even a combination of the two! Rencraft are delighted to partner with Borough Kitchen to provide their Islington Square store with two beautiful, bespoke kitchen designs. Our partnership began in 2019, when we were brought together through our mutual relationship with luxury German appliance manufacturer, Gaggenau. Gaggenau knew that the team behind Borough Kitchen were looking for a British kitchen company to design and manufacture two kitchens for their brand new London flagship store. Instantly, they thought of Rencraft and introduced our MD, John, to Justin Kowbel and David Caldana, founders of Borough Kitchen.

While each and every Rencraft kitchen or piece of furniture is unique, there are certain key features which you will find across all of our designs. Nestled down a winding country lane you'll find Chart Farm, located just outside Sevenoaks. This has been Rencraft's home since 1980 when we first started manufacturing bespoke pieces of furniture under the guidance of our founder, Nick Pile. An engineer by profession, Nick's approach was to look at the principles of woodworking from an engineering perspective. This means that our workshop today is a unique blend of traditional woodworking methods alongside key pieces of modern machinery. We believe this allows us to harness the very best of both worlds, resulting in a quality product that offers customer satisfaction for years to come.

Once you have architects plans or a simple sketch, our designers can begin to consider the best way to maximise the space. We bring fresh ideas, years of experience, technical expertise and patience! Our aim is to translate your dreams into a reality. At an initial meeting we will spend time gaining a thorough understanding of your objectives, brainstorming ideas and understanding practical requirements as well as the overall look and style. After this meeting, our designers will sketch out initial thoughts and ideas, also looking at worktops and appliances.
