Considering the service we sought (and were prepared to pay for), we both judged engaging with KBB for a kitchen design to be an unpleasant experience. The "designer" seemed less interested in finding out what we needed and more interested in processing us through a drastically foreshortened process that he literally stated was "pick a colour, and then I'll do a design and we can adjust the budget".
After the survey, during which he either ignored or dismissed suggestions from both us and the house vendor, the design he produced was completely incompetent. For instance, he arbitrarily moved the hob and extractor vent onto a wall that would have resulted in all the cooking fumes being fed directly into a patio area and back into the house through a french window.
Rather than go through the tortuous process of correcting this nonsense with a person who gave off the vibe that he didn't really want our business, we decided to cancel the job.

Great experience with the designer Richard and the installation team lead by Curtis. The design met our expectations and the installation was achieved quickly and efficiently. Everyone was courteous and thoughtful to minimise the disruption and took care to ensure the sequencing was smooth. A special word of praise also for the stone worktop specialists at Wood for Stone, who helped us with our choice of granite and who cut and fitted the worktops beautifully. Already recommended KBB twice and my bathroom is only just finished! To begin, I love the fact that KBB are a local and independent business, they have an amazing showroom on Dales Rd. Correspondence has been top notch throughout. I have not had to chase anything up regarding initial design or work throughout. Richard designed the bathroom for us, listening carefully to our ideas. He offered his ideas and choices throughout and although he was the designer, had obvious experience in the understanding of bathroom fitting. Richard answered all our questions and amended the design as our plan evolved. There was no hard sale. The plans were emailed promptly so we could get a good idea of how it would look and amended as adjustments were made. We visited Richard at the showroom to make our final choices (again no pressure, was even invited back for another visit before commiting, although we didn't need to). Richard showed us lots of options both in the catalogues and on the showroom floor.
A date was book and the work began! Carl and Craig did the fitting. They were very professional and polite and paid attention to detail, a high quality fit, completing the job swiftly but accurately. We decided we would like the bathroom decorated by them part way through the installation and again, this was not a problem for them. They fitted this in and Carl did a beautiful job, even though half of the bathroom was already installed. Everything ran smoothly and other KBB tradesmen (plasterers and electricians) were called in promptly when required. Again, polite and friendly, all working to a high standard, with minimal mess. We were kept informed throughout the whole process. If I had to find fault, it would be that they don't advertise their personal at home design visit well enough. This was an important factor for me. So glad we found them. Can't recommend them enough, so pleased with our new bathroom! Will definitely have them back for more work when we've saved up! Thanks Richard, Carl Craig and all at KBB!

KBB have been very helpful and professional from the start.The service from design/delivery to worktop templating/fitting has been brilliant. We had a small part missing from a Neff appliance (not there fault) but Richard was quick to get this rectified. We like using smaller local businesses and are so pleased we choose KBB.
I will be recommending you to anyone looking for a new Kitchen or Bathroom

From the time I ordered my new kitchen with Mathew down to kitchen fitters /plasterers /electrician /plumbers/and the men who fitted the worktops everyone who came did a wonderful job very polite and always helpful answering any questions I had . We have just had our bathroom and en-suite fitted by KBB courtesy of the likely lads Neil and Mark. The installation of both rooms have been done to an excellent standard. Any concerns during the fitting they were able to offer solutions and advice on what would work best. We would highly recommend using KBB for this service. Couple of minor issues after completion on the Friday. Phoned the fitter on Monday and he came and sorted it. So so pleased with how they have turned out. Just make sure you have tea bags in !!!!
