We are very pleased to confirm that the showroom and our workshop will be re-opening for business on Monday 15th June. These remain challenging times for everyone and in order to maintain the current government guidelines and ensure that we prioritise both the health of our clients and our staff, all meetings in the showroom will be on an appointment only basis for the time being. Woodwork work with you to design and create affordable, made to measure, wooden furniture for your home in any style, any size.

Woodwork Traditional Handmade Furniture Ltd is an established, family run company which was set up in 1993 to design and make wooden kitchens and furniture for the home. Everything is made individually for you by our own craftsmen at our workshops in the Kent countryside. Each cabinet is made to measure and the style and design can be anything you choose. Our clients are welcome to visit our workshops to see us at work. We work closely with our chosen suppliers to ensure the best quality for our clients.

Our fitters are family friendly professionals who understand how to work in clients homes. They are used to working with other trades that may be involved during a fit and will always approach any problems which may come up with the customer's best interest at heart. So if anything unforeseen does occur on your project, you can be sure that we will be there to help to resolve it. Your furniture is delivered by us on a date and time convenient to you. Depending on the size of the project, the installation can take half a day or 3 to 4 weeks, but you will always be kept completely up to date at every stage.

Our Tunbridge Wells kitchen showroom is the perfect place for you to meet our design team. The showroom has kitchen, bedroom and home furniture displays and gives you the opportunity to fully appreciate the quality of our products and people. We have kitchens installed and have friendly and knowledgeable staff who can help you with any questions you might have. You can also see the handwritten testimonials from our customers.

Woodwork provide a full in-house service for your project, and will be with you every step of the way. We are also happy to design and make your furniture and deliver it for your own specialists to fit, whatever suits you best. We are always happy to welcome you in our showroom but do work on an appointment basis, so please call us first to book in.

All our cabinets are made in our workshops in the Kent countryside by our own experienced craftsmen. Cabinets are made in accordance with our clients agreed design, so can range from solid wood throughout, to veneered carcases and wooden/MDF doors. They are delivered to site as complete units, not flat-packed pieces, and the doors, drawers and trims are all fitted on site once the carcases have been installed. We use traditional techniques while taking advantage of the latest technology to build kitchens and furniture which will stand the test of time.

We provide a comprehensive and creative design service for all our clients whether starting from an architect's plan or a scribbled wishlist. To begin with, we arrange a meeting to discuss your project and from this we develop your design plan and associated costings using our CAD design system. We then get together again to present this back to you. This is all provided free of charge with absolutely no obligation. With most projects, changes and alterations will need to made along the way, and your designer will work closely with you to ensure every detail is covered, from cookers to hinges.
