Boiler service was, as last year, done very quickly and with no mess.
Replacing a faulty radiator valve was again completed quickly and with no mess but I as suppressed by the high cost of the valve.

I was woken at 4.30 am on 22/6/22 by a very loud whining/buzzing noise coming from my pipes. It seemed to be worse when I ran cold water or flushed toilet. Plumber checked several possibilities and inspected the tanks in my attic. He found a faulty valve in the toilet and replaced this. He also measured my kitchen sink as I wanted a quote for replacing this. He was punctual, polite and helpful at all times.

However I am still waiting for the quote re the kitchen sink. (Hence 4 stars not 5). It turned out the loud noises came from airlocks in the pipes, caused by a burst water main not too far away, but the plumber was not to know about this at the time!

Your firm was recommended by a friend. I had not heard of you before. From the start I was impressed by the friendly and helpful attention I received on the phone. The plumbing problem was addressed as soon as practicable in view of Bank Holidays and the unexpected necessity of obtaining a new toilet was dealt with promptly on the same day. The workmen were pleasant and reassuring and druggeting was put down to protect the carpets. I would not hesitate to use Murfin's again.

It was from a neighbour who was having work done by one your engineers that I invited the engineer in to our home. He quite quickly diagnosed our central heating problems and within one week of his visit I had received a quote for the work needed and it being done. Our dealings with both the engineer and the office based member of the team were pleasant and efficient from start to finish. On the basis of our experience we would definitely consider them again for any problems with our central heating.
