They showed up 3 hours late and without boxes. They had to go back to Essex to get them and come back almost 5 hours later. This was just the pick up. The real hustle was to get them to deliver our belongings. First they double booked our original delivery date, then when they finally came a week later they only delivered half of our boxes. Finally they delivered the rest of the boxes another week later. They were basically almost a month late in delivering our goods. The boxes were delivered to us with holes and bumps on them. Currently still checking nothing was damaged. Absolute nightmare.

We had a very tight schedule moving from Zurich, CH to Cambridge, UK. The movers arrived perfectly on time so that was one less thing to worry about. We had done all the packaging and wrapped as much as we could. Nonetheless, the movers had extra wrapping with them to wrap the sofa cushions. Every was loaded and unloaded with great care. There was no damage to either the property we moved out of or the property we moved into. The MD, Cris, was very responsive even though we changed the requirements for our move three times (changing dates, upping the volume). All the movers were super friendly and extremely hard working.

The move company arrived early on the date of collection. This was fine as they called in advance of 30 minutes. The movers did not remove their shoes at either end of the move nor did they offer to. On receiving my furniture there was significant damage to a large black picture frame which was wrapped in its original packaging carefully as it was expensive and new. The company would not accept responsibility for this despite the packaging (previously undamaged) having a large dent/ rip in it where the damaged area is on the frame.

Apparently because I packaged it in its original professional & sturdy packaging, they will not accept responsibility for causing a large hole in the frame. I suggest if anyone wants their stuff in one piece to wrap it in bomb proof wrapping because when they carelessly drop it they won't take responsibility! There was also a pull on one of our sofa cushions which were not wrapped by the company and two large marks across our fabric sofas which also were not wrapped during transportation. Cris Pop the company director has lied saying that the furniture 'was wrapped' and 'not dropped' to escape having to pay out for damage.

This is because his employees have said it was without any proof. Although they have said that they might have caused the large black mark which they think I could 'wipe off'. Unhelpful and blatant liars.
