Premium British Hardwoods Supplier in Gloucester
Williams British Hardwoods is a family-run business established in 2000, dedicated to supplying premium-quality British hardwoods. Our operations are based 20 minutes south of Gloucester, where we source, cut, and kiln-dry timber on-site to ensure exceptional quality. We specialise in providing wide and long lengths of wood, with boards available up to 18 feet, catering to builders, carpenters, joiners, and DIY enthusiasts. Our commitment to sustainability is evident through our locally sourced materials and a 150-acre woodland planted in 1999. We offer a diverse range of native hardwoods, including oak, cherry, walnut, ash, and sycamore, all guaranteed to originate from the UK.Unlike many timber merchants, we allow customers to handpick their boards, ensuring they find the perfect match for their projects. In addition to raw timber, we manufacture floorboards, skirting boards, doors, and architraves in our workshop. Our firewood, sourced sustainably from our own woodland, is seasoned and ready for efficient burning. We serve customers across Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham, and Bristol, prioritising transparency and customer satisfaction. With over two decades of experience, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to deliver materials that meet the highest standards for both professional and personal projects.
