This is information about the standard and frequency that you can expect of the communal grounds maintenance service. It tells you how to comment about the service and how the service will be monitored. These standards are based on our aim to provide all customers with the best possible service at the most reasonable cost. Community Housing Officers and Estate Officers will inspect the grounds on a regular basis. In addition to this, the residents from many of the blocks have offered voluntary help to monitor the standard of grounds maintenance.

The asset management team carry out a stock condition survey in all our properties every 5 years; this information is then inputted into a database which tells us when an element i.e. If we need to carry out an electrical rewire at your home, our contractor or our Resident Liaison Officers will visit you to discuss the work. We can offer assistance in helping you to prepare for the work. We can also provide you with a decorating voucher once the works are complete, depending on how the contractor rewires your home.

Boiler controls make a big difference to your comfort and energy usage. You can decide when you want your heating, and in some cases hot water, to come on and go off and how warm you want your home to be. They ensure a comfortable temperature whilst reducing your energy use, so that you only pay for what you need when you need it. The central heating temperature control dial is for controlling the temperature of the water that goes from the boiler into your radiators - not the room temperature, It the setting is too high.
