Sweeting Bros Ltd are specialist land drainage, sportsturf and earthworks contractors. Established in 1968, primarily as agricultural drainage contractors, the company has grown to encompass all aspects of water management and groundworks. From the design and installation of agricultural, sportsturf and pipeline drainage schemes through to the construction of reservoirs, ponds and lagoons to watercourse maintenance and construction to the installation of irrigation, water supply and electricity cabling and ducting Sweeting Bros Ltd have the experienced staff and fleet of specialist plant machinery to operate successfully in the many diverse areas of our industry.

As specialists in land drainage and pipeline installations, we have undertaken a wide range of projects and contracts in Yorkshire and are dedicated to providing the highest level of service. From football and rugby pitches to cricket grounds and recreation areas, Sweeting Bros Ltd operate all year round offering a comprehensive service from design to completion. Piling, de-silting, weed cutting, watercourse and culvert construction are all services we undertake on a regular basis. Here at Sweeting Bros Ltd, we have a wealth of experience in all aspects of drainage and related issues especially the treatment and disposal of waste water and sewage.

Since 1968, Sweeting Bros Ltd has been providing land drainage solutions for farmers, construction companies, land owners, utility companies and private businesses. After initial contact with the client a thorough site investigation and survey using GPS surveying equipment is carried out. Plans are drawn using Farm Works software which is then uploaded to the trencher to install. An asbuilt plan is supplied on completion. Mastenbroek trenching machines fitted with GPS grade control and auto steer are supported by a fleet of gravel carts & excavators to ensure efficient execution of contracts.

Working for local drainage boards, farmers, landowners & Local Authorities we take on projects to ensure watercourses are kept clear of annual weed growth, silt and debris that can prevent water from moving efficiently through the drainage system. We provide specialist equipment including excavators of various sizes from 3 ton to 38 ton with reaches of up to 15m fitted with various attachments including weed cutting buckets, piling hammers and tree shears.
