Cuplas has been established for over 30 years. We started trading from a back street shed, hence the name CU (copper), PLAS (plastics). Over that time the company has evolved and expanded both our product portfolio and customer base. The company focus is now on supplying the whole one stop shop experience for the mechanical, electrical, ventilation and plumbing contractor (M.E.V.P) from the 1st fix soils, duct work and cable tray to the sanitaryware, MEV units and lighting. From local tradesmen to the national contractor, all share equal importance and benefit from our high level of expertise and many years of experience working within our industry.

Being one of the North West's leading stockists of ventilation duct work, we carry vast stocks of 204x60mm, 220x90mm, 125mm and 150mm Duct & associated accessories. We stock all ventilation systems to meet current regulations, including intermittent extract fans, DMEV / MEV continuous extract fans and MVHR mechanical extract ventilation with heat recovery units. Specialising in residential installations, we have supplied ventilation to many apartment, care home, retirement home and student accommodation projects, all throughout the UK.

Drainage has been a major part of the Cuplas success story and has always been a very important part of our stock portfolio. Over the years a number of new innovations surrounding drainage have appeared - where once most commercial projects preferred cast iron in the public and car park areas there is now an option to use a Fuze or an HDPE system. We now have syphonic rain water systems that can move tremendous amounts of rain and surface water preventing flooding and damage. Acoustic drainage has improved since it was first introduced many years ago with the DB12 system being one of the market leaders.

Supplying both commercial and domestic heating systems, we deal with all the leading brands and manufacturers. The multi occupancy developments that we supply normally specify an OSO type unit, where as housing developers go for something more from the RM solar range. Efficiency is the main priority to the manufacturers in today's market, with A-Rated boilers and heat recovery times being the driving force behind the new innovations appearing all the time. With carbon emissions being in the forefront of government policy, it is up to the manufacturers to keep up or surpass government legislation, with each and every new product that they release.
