I've been popping in the Fleetwood shop for last couple of days looking at mobility scooters. Today I went in and decided I wanted a wheelchair the shop keeper was very helpful I tried out a few chairs and walked away with a chair, cushion and bag for a great price. I am really happy with my purchase and hope it last a while

Thankfully my store that I use at has stepped up a bit by having a new Manager but still needs a lot of training I feel as to how his customers should be advised on the mobility things that they buy but he is indeed a lovely man. I wish I was younger and would love a job like that as I would advice the best item to buy for their need. I have recently bought two small scooters exactly the same for almost 2,000 for the two but only got a few yards and a few minutes to try. I am now told that the customer should have had 15 minutes so that seems strange to be told that now, after I asked to change for a bigger one for my tall 94 year old husband, as after trying his to get out for the first time in two years he was stuck and could not get off as too small after an hours run on it.however I have written to the owner of the company who I would have thought he would have replied to me as a customer but nothing as yet. I have the second scooter that I want to change for a larger one that has never been ridden as I would keep the first one for myself. There must be kindness somewhere in that field so it looks as if my holiday this week where the scooters are kept will be a stay in one like the past because I cannot go about leaving my husband at home alone when he could have been given the right advice as to the size of scooter that he should have had. Money does not grow on trees, however do be careful what you buy please as we old folk save hard for our future needs and should be helped to buy right size so hope you readers agree. I cannot condemn the shop as I have bought many things from them over the past few years as my children also have bought for their dad so it would be nice if they will take the second scooter back still never used as was delivered by van to me and let me change for a larger comfortable one and let us have the 15 minutes to try like I have now been told as at this stage I have to enquire as to what else I can do to give my hubby the chance to see the rest of our holiday place at Hunstanton. This review is in answer as to what do I think of the mobility 2,000. I think they are great as to the mobility things that they sell to us elderly but would like to see the right advice for the sale on scooters, size of the customer to be first and foremost because one needs to try properly before they buy. I was also told its like buying a car, you buy, you keep but it is a vast difference when you buy a scooter in my mind, however I have made my point and do not in anyway wish to offend as I would be lost without these type of shops. I struggle myself to get about hence the two scooters that I am comfortable with the one for me on trying my husbands as mine is exactly the same as his.
