I charge £50 plus parts for the 1st hour (minimum charge), then £40 / hour in 6 minute increments (for Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, within 10 miles of Salisbury). I often hear it said, "You can't find a plumber to do the small jobs", or "You can't find a plumber when you need one". I try to fill these two needs of small jobs and availability without too long a wait. I especially fix toilets and taps, but also deal with shower problems, leaks, blockages and the like. Not being a gas plumber, I don't do boiler repairs or servicing, but I do fix problems with radiators and radiator valves.

If your shower is not working correctly, I am happy to make an obligation-free inspection visit to identify what's wrong and the best solution. If your mixer shower has stopped working correctly I can probably fix it by ordering and fitting a new thermostatic cartridge. Especially with shower valves that are built-in behind the tiling, this is the cheapest solution. If the shower is unbranded and I am unable to identify the correct cartridge, it might be necessary to replace the shower, which would include some retiling.

I am fully equipped to clear blockages, both in your internal waste pipework and sanitary appliances, and in your outside drains. I may also need to open up the trap (u-bend) and waste pipework to clear them with a flexible snake and to flush them through with mains water.
