Underfloor heating has been in use for centuries and is often credited to the Romans although the concept of generating heat under the floor to allow the warmth to radiate up has been in use since Neolithic times. Modern underfloor heating systems use a series of pipes or hydronic systems flowing water to heat the floor typically connected to the central heating system. This offers an alternative heating option to using radiators and is suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories or even the entire house.
This sludge residue can be the result of rusting and without any intervention can leave long term damage to the central heating system causing blocked valves and reducing the central heating system efficiency. At Haynes Plumbing & Heating, our engineers use a Power Flushing Machine together with chemical cleaning agents to ensure that the central heating system is cleaned to the highest possible standard. The power flushing machine is connected to the central heating system flushing chemicals and water through at a high velocity ensuring the sludge and debris are dislodged and removed from the radiators.
Our heating service engineers have been installing central heating systems on new builds, council contracts and private properties for over 12 years. In this time we have fitted boiler upgrades, replacements and repairs from a variety of boiler manufacturers including Worcester Bosch and Vaillant for which Haynes are both accredited. We also have considerable experience of working on commercial and industrial heating projects.
Solar Water Heating Panels can provide up to 60%* of the annual hot water used in a home. The solar water heating panels use the power of direct and diffused sunlight to produce hot water for the home and are designed to be installed with existing heating systems that use a cylinder to store hot water. Natural energy stored in the earth can be used to heat your home using a ground source heat pump unit. The ground source heat pump is designed for use as the only source of heating and hot water in the home alternatively it can be integrated with solar water heating.
