The Waterworks Studio is owned by Nigel Fryer. He has worked as a plumber in Barrow in Furness for 30+ years and decided to expand his business to include a small showroom on Walney Island in 2003. As the business continued to thrive the Waterworks Studio moved to the current, larger premises on Ashburner Way, still managing to maintain the personal approach to customer service which distinguishes it from many of its competitors. Brad is a fellow director who has worked with Nigel since leaving school.

Our showroom is extensive without being overwhelming. Displays are designed to give a true indication of what might reasonably fit into an average bathroom, with everything on show from baths and basins, showers and taps to bathroom furniture and accessories. We also stock a wide range of cladding options which offer an appealing alternative to tiling.

We have three teams of experienced bathroom installers who have trained as apprentices with the company. They are skilled craftsmen who take great pride in their work; our customers are invariably complementary about the courtesy of our staff and their attention to detail. Increasingly we install VAT free bathroom products for the less able and would be more than happy to discuss this if you think you might be eligible.
