Underfloor heating works by pumping warm water from any heat source through plastic tubing within or embedded in the floor. The exact flow of water is regulated by pumps, thermostats, flow control valves & blending valves. Because the emitting area is large, sufficient warmth is provided even on a cold winter day with no need for supplementary heating. As underfloor heating is run at a lower temperature than traditional radiators, the system can be more cost efficient, potentially reducing your energy bills.
