Stephen Weir Stained Glass is a Glasgow based studio specialising in the design, manufacture and repair of quality stained glass windows and doors throughout Scotland. We combine contemporary design ideas with traditional leading techniques. Through experimentation with textures, fusing and colour we are designing and producing exciting, vibrant, inspirational stained glass. As well as a full design service we also provide any practical information you may require. All our stained glass is made to order and every design is unique.

Simple repairs to damaged stained glass can usually be satisfactorily carried out in situ. We keep a large selection of antique glass in stock and can normally find a good match for the repair. When the damage is considered too extensive or where the lead and solder have corroded it is often necessary to remove an entire window or section of a window to undergo full stained glass restoration. Upon its return to our studio, the panel is stripped. Safety & Security Glazing We supply and fit toughened glass, laminated glass or polycarbonate glazing for safety or to protect your stained glass against vandalism.
