Loft insulation standards have changed substantially in recent years and although brand new homes normally benefit from 10"(270mm) thick insulation, many homeowners still have less than 6"(150mm) of loft insulation in their roof space. The Warmer Group can check the levels of loft insulation in your roof space and make recommendations on where heat loss can be saved. We not only insulate the main surface areas including exposed hot and cold water pipes, we also ensure your roof space is properly ventilated to prevent condensation and subsequent wood rot at a small additional cost.

A cavity wall is made up of two walls with a gap in between the 'leaves' or walls of the building which was originally created to allow any rainwater that penetrates through the outside wall to drain down the inside of the wall to below the damp proof course (DPC). Cavity wall insulation works by trapping air in and around the material injected into the cavity and can reduce the heat lost from your home by 35%. At The Warmer Group we provide the latest cavity wall insulation solutions including InstaBead Carbon Saving and InstaFibre White Wool.

There are a variety of schemes and options available to assist with funding for energy efficiency home improvements such as Cavity Wall Insulation and Loft Insulation. A new government scheme (ECO3) has been launched, which offers FREE Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation to households that fit the criteria. Privately owned or rented properties are eligible. The ECO3 scheme allows low income households, vulnerable individuals and homes in low income area's to funding support for a range of energy efficiency packages including Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation.
